ANGELA BECKER

President

Angie is the President and has been in the insurance industry since 1998. She holds the designations of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, reading, and watching the Washington Capitals. Angie and Mike have three children and four grandchildren.

MICHAEL BECKER

Sr. Vice President

Mike is the Senior Vice President and is responsible for all the behind the scenes duties for the insurance department and association. He also looks after the collector car insurance program. In his free time he enjoys touring in his Corvette, tinkering with his classic cars and spending time at the beach.

STEVEN BECKER

Vice President

Steven is a Vice President. He has been in the insurance industry since graduating from NC State in 2012. His duties are very broad and basically require him to be a "Jack of all Trades". Steven is married with one son. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and watching sports, especially Liverpool FC.

MICHELE NELSON

Office Manager

Customer Service Representative

Michele is the Office Manager as well as an Insurance Customer Service Representative and has been with the agency since 2019. She holds the designation of Certified Insurance Customer Representative (CISR). Currently she handles the personal lines home & auto markets, policy processing, answering customer calls as well as other customer service duties. Michele is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.  She is married with 5 children and 2 grandchildren.

LISA KERSTEN

Customer Service Representative

Lisa is an Insurance Service Representative and has been with the agency since 2015. She holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She is currently primarily working with our antique and collectible dealer insurance program, doing policy processing, but also answers customer calls and performs other  customer service duties as well. Lisa is a St. Louis, Missouri native and married with two children.

HEATHER BERRY

Customer Service Representative

Heather has been with the agency since 2020 and is a Customer Service Representative. In addition to servicing clients, she services the collector insurance program and is responsible for the agency newsletter & social media accounts. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, doing crafts, playing cards and trivia games. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and resides in Davidson NC.
